About

About Us

Clay and Construction Workers Industrial Cooperative Society started as collective of workers producing clay-based construction materials. The society was established in 1976 at Calicut. Founded on principles of collaboration and equity, the society empowers its members by providing them with ownership stakes in the enterprise, ensuring fair wages, and fostering a supportive working environment.

Members of the cooperative pool their skills and resources and work together. This model also allows them to maintain control over their work and ensure that profits are reinvested back into the cooperative for the benefit of all members.

Mission

"To empower our members and communities through sustainable construction practices, fostering economic growth, social development, and environmental stewardship."

Vision

"We envision a future where our cooperative society is a cornerstone of ethical construction. Through collaboration and integrity, we aim to shape a built environment that enhances the quality of life for present and future generations."
